Dancers

One of my favourite TV shows is Strictly Come Dancing. All of the drawings posted here are very old, and a couple are of ice skaters because I also like Dancing On Ice, although I didn't get quite as obsessed.

This was my first drawing of dancers. It was before I bought a graphics tablet, so it was done with a mouse and using Paint Shop Pro 9.

Same as before, I was using a mouse, however this one was coloured in GIMP.

Another GIMP+mouse drawing, however this time I had tried to make it more "realistic" with the colouring. I know I'm not the only one to see that was a fail.

This ends the Strictly theme nicely with the ballroom and a group dance. I painted the ballroom mostly with water colours (i can't remember the name of the other paint i used) and then drew the dancers and stuck them on. This was coursework for Art GCSE.

Now the ice skaters:

This was a (unfinished) doodle I had done at school, and that is my friend Amy holding it for me.

Another unfinished one, but this time it has been drawn with a graphics tablet in Artrage 2.

Finished! Another ice skater/dancer drawn in Artrage 2.

And finally, to round up this post: a wedding dance!

One of my favourite drawings I have done myself, because it was based around my aunty and uncle getting married (although the dancers don't look anything like them or what they wore at their wedding!). Drawn with a mouse using GIMP.
