About Yasmin

My name is Yasmin Walji, but I use my boyfriend's surname for user names and the like. I live in sunny England, but I'm half Indian. I am 18 years old and doing A-Levels at college.



I have always loved everything creative. My mum often tells me about paintings and drawings I used to do for her as a little child. I've never taken any formal lessons, just the usual art class at school with everyone else - so everything is self taught (hence it's extreme amateur-ish-ness).

My "specialty", if you will, is traditional observational drawings. I don't do many, but they are what I enjoy most, and have the best results. Lately, I have also come to enjoy digital art. I have a graphics tablet, so instead of drawing with pencil and paper, I now use my computer. I also enjoy taking pictures, although I've lost my digital camera (which isn't that good anyway) and I'm not that good at taking them either. But nevermind.

This blog is basically for me to post anything I create. I do have a deviantART account, which I will update aswell, but I just wanted something unique for me to customise!
